Question: Eye itches furiously!! 10 points!?
my eye itches extremely bad, it will stop for a week or two, then continue itching every other day!. it itches right were the lids connect, i dont know what its called, at the beggining of the eye, and it itches reeeealy bad so i HAVE to scratch it :/ then my eye gets bloodshot, and a little bit bigger, and sometimes i have to itch so bad i burn the skin by my eye with friction from rubbing :/ what do i do to make it stop!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put ice on it!. Well, not like a cold ice cube right on your eye! Take a few ice cubes and put them in a dish towel, or hand towel whatever and hold it on your eye until it stops itching!. Itching it is doing nothing but making it worse!. It sounds to me like you may have pink eye!.!. You should probably get to an eye doctor if the itching doesn't go away after trying the ice for a few hours or so!.

I have the same thing!. I actually just got it about an hour ago, too!. My eye got all puffy and red and it was really painful afterwards from the scratching!. You must be allergic to something!. Every time I pet my dog, this happens to me!. I guess one of my parents are now going to take me to an allergy doctor to get tested and prescribed medicine!. I suggest the same for you so you don't have those annoying itchy eyes or itchy throat if you get those, too!. One thing that really helps me when I have those itchy eyes is taking a nice cold shower and if I already took a cold shower, I just put my face in a bucket of cold water lol!. It helps!.

It is an infection of your conjunctiva of your eye,!.!. the conjunctiva is kind of like the windshield of your eye, it layers the inside of your eye lids and takes a U-turn at the eyeball top and bottom covering the eye from the outside!.

GO TO EYE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!. you could have an infection!. rubbing it could spread it to the other eye or make the situation worst!. warm water on a cloth might bring some relief, but won't stop the problem!. don't bother with eye drops, that's only for the cornea!. its most likely the fluid in your eye that is causing the itching!. most likely a cream will clear that right up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, try putting a hot compress on it frequently!. Then, get the visine drops!. Make sure you're getting the ones that say a quantity on the outside of a large box, not the bottle of drops!. The bottles contain preservatives which actually can dry your eyes out and/ or irritate them!.

try visine!.!.!.its drops that you put in to your eye to help itching and redness!.!.!.you might have a sty!.!.thats a little bump on your eye lid that itches like crazy!. visine help for that tooWww@Answer-Health@Com
You may have something on your lashes like, dust or something and it is irritating your eye!. Try to wash your eye out with water and see if it still itches!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
