Question: Should I get lazer eye surgery at age 13!?
I am 13!.5 years old!. I have bad vision-not too bad!. Anyway, I don't want glasses and/or contacts because glasses look weird on me & contacts are annoying!. I'm considering lazer eye surgery!. Do you think I should get it!? What do you think I should do!?
The decision is all mine!. Please no comments regarding my family, friends, etc!. Thanks!

Go and get it! Age should not matter when it comes to sight!. My eye sight was bad since 13 and I didn't know!. I got my first pair of glasses at 15!. And I was like WOW!. Everything was so clear!. My migraines stopped!. Whenever I need to upgrade my prescription, I get serious headaches!. Now, I can't upgrade my prescription anymore!. My next step is the lasik surgery!. Oh, did you say laser!.!.!.get the LASIK, I heard it is better!. Well, I did my research, it is better!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Not a very good idea and no good optician will recommend it at your age!. Your eyes are still developing!. You need a steady prescription for at least two years before you can have it done and you have to be over 18!. I asked my optician if I could have it done and she told me to wait until I was 21!. I know its not what you want to hear, but any GOOD optician will tell you the same!.

You need to be at least 18 years of age to receive Lasik Surgery!.So companies performing Lasik want to ensure they are not operating on anyone who has not gone through puberty yet!. in order to minimize lawsuits, 18 is the age which they have assigned as "safe"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Absolutely not, no responsible surgeon would touch you!. as a growing child, your prescription is not stable, any refractive surgery could possibly harm your vision!.
