Question: Rx sunglasses and darker tint!?
I ordered a par of sunglasses on line and I really like them but I ordered the tint too light!.
I can return them and get a 50% credit tward a new pair but I was wondering if there is a way to make the tint darker on this pair if I take them to an eyeglass store near me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some places like walmart or costco have in house tinting, where you can get this done!. You shouldn't have any trouble getting whatever color or % darkness you want from these places but since you did not order glasses from them directly they can't be held responsible for damages or problems with your lenses!. It is possible to have them retinted, but whoever does it will not take on the responsibility for any damage done in the process!. Walmart may still have tinting machines but Costco does not!. Otherwise you can go to a private shop!. It will probably be less costly than sending them back in!. This is a great example of why you should never order your eyewear online! Regardless of the reason, if you went to an optical shop, they probably would have retinted them at no charge for you!. Good luck! Www@Answer-Health@Com
Most likely they can be re-tinted but you have to weight the cost of re-tinting versus sending them back!. Try going to COSTCO and asking them!. Any small eyeglass store will charge you a mint!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
