Since I used to work for an optical company (I won't mention the name, but the initials are LC) I know they put a premium on getting the glasses out in one hour or less!. It takes longer to cut lenses to the prescription from blanks, so they use pre-made lenses whenever possible!. One time I was going to cut some lenses that were designated "scratch-resistant" from blanks, and was told by my manager to use the pre-made - I said we were out of it in pre-made lenses - she said use the non-scratch-resistant ones and we'll "honor the warranty"!.

I was disgusted, because I know people generally will not bring them back, so they paid for scratch resistant lenses for nothing!

Take them back and demand new lenses because they scratched!. Ask to see the package saying they used scratch resistant lenses!.

Then, when you get them re-done, make sure you use a clean, soft cloth to clean the lenses (never tissues or paper towels) and whenever possible rinse the lenses before wiping to keep from getting new scratches!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take your glasses, as well as your receipt, and go to where you bought them, unless your glasses are older!.

If not!.!.!. well, no!. There's not a lot you can do!. There are some liquid products that claim to work, but they don't work well!. If you like the frames, just go somewhere cheap - like Walmart - and buy new lenses, and have them put them in your frames!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

scratch resistant & scratch proof are not the same!. if you abuse the glasses by dropping them into a purse for example, they will scratch!.

But take them back & ask why they scratched so soon!.

There are scratch repair kits, I'm not sure I'd use them!. But the kits to remove scratches from car headlights do work so maybe there is chance!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is not possible to have the same power as it was before ---and also nobody gives guarantee for your plastic Lens --- it is better for you to go for a new lenses Www@Answer-Health@Com

If they are at all in warranty I would take them back to where you bought them!.

However, remember Scratch Resistant doesn't mean Scratch Proof!. Scratches can still occur so, you still have to be somewhat careful and use a case!.

You paid for scratch resistance protection, you should not have scratches!. Contact the place you got them and get them to fix it!.

Good luck!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Normally, you reall cannot fix scratches on eye glasses especially if they are the new plastics or light weight glass!.!.!. there are some liquids that can be used!.!.!. but once the liquid dries up!.!.!. the scratches reappear!.!.!.

scratch resistant does not mean scratch proof
scratches cannot be removed but,if multi-coated defect or peeling off, most optical shop will replace for you within 1 year from purchased!.
