When did these scratch resistant & anti reflective lenses become standard?!

Question: When did these scratch resistant & anti reflective lenses become standard!?
I was looking through my old glasses and they don't have anti-reflective and scratch resistant coating!. The ones my dad currently uses don't have them either (he's had the same prescription for years)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A scratch resistant coating now comes standard on all Specsavers glasses for a couple of months now!. But you would still have to pay for anti reflective coatings!.
Its not standard with all opticians though, so it depends where you go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its not that the lenses are standard now but the quality of coatings has greatly improved and so id being used more often!. some places will try selling that as their standard lens so they can charge you more for yoou lenses, you can get them wihtout the coatings although i reccomend anti reflective and scratch coating!. if you want basic uncoated lenses ask for them you could ask if the lenses are polycarb or cr39, polycarb will need a scratch coating but cr39 lenses are scratch resistant anywayWww@Answer-Health@Com

Eyeglasses can be purchased without scratch resistance and/or
anti-reflection!.

Just plain old plastic is available ---It depends where you shop as to what add-ons the dispenser pushes on you!.

If you want the most basic lenses, ask for basic lenses!.
If they wont sell them, try someplace else!.
