Eyes are always bloodshot ?!

Question: Eyes are always bloodshot !?
There is always a constant red streak of bloodshot running through the whites in my eyes!.

Usually no matter what, it is there, year round!.

I get a decent amount of sleep, and maintain good hygiene on my face!.

Eye drops work, but I hate using them, so unnatural!.

Had a liver count done once too, everything was normal!.

What could be causing it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Dilation of ocular blood vessels is usually caused by the release of histamine!. Histamine is stored in mast cells and released when the body wants to "cleanse" the area(s) of debris!.
There are a few possible causes:
1!. An allergic reaction to something in youe enviornment such as bedding pillow cases, etc!. orwhere you work, live, or attend school!.
2!.!. Straining!. Do you cough more than usual, are you lifting heavy objects!?
3!. Eye fatigue!. When was the last time your eyes were examined!? Are you working in a dimly lit area a lot!?
4!. Idiopathic!. This means "without a known specific cause!." Kinda a medical "excuse" meaning "we have no clue!"
5!. Micro-aneurysms in the eye!. May be idiopathic or may be a warning sign of vascular disease!.
Are you on any meds or nutritional supplements!? Niacin (a B-vitamin) can cause vasodilation!.
My suggestion is to try saline eye drops!. These are easily found in any pharmacy!.!.!.ask the pharmacist!. I would NOT suggest Visine or any decongestant eye drop that "gets the red out" for prolonged use as the ingredient may increase your blood pressure--and high BP CAN cause your symptoms!.

It could be many things, in most cases associated with dry eyes - and often sun/wind exposure!. Could also be an eye allergy!. Artificial tears that Don't include a "get the red out" component are helpful (use 3-4 times a day)!. See an eye doctor to diagnose an allergy if the tears don't work!. Use sunglasses in bright light to reduce inflammation!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
