Question: Would this reck your contacts!?

My friend has non-disposable contacts and she had no solution left so she put them in tap water for a couple days!. Then tonight I gave her some solution and before she put them in the case she boiled them in hot water!? Should'nt she just have put them in solution in the case!? Her and I use Opti-Free!? Help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
