I got my eyes dilated at 2:30pm!. It's not almost 5!. How long does it take for it to go away and I can wear my contacts and such!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dilation usually lasts 3 to 4 hours, but in many people it can last 24 hours, or even a bit more!.!.!.so don't be worried if they are still a bit dilated even tomorrow morning!.

It depends upon what drug you have used to dialate the pupil!. It ranges from 2 hours to 14 days according to the drug used!. If it is tropicamide of homatropine it will pass off in 2 to 4 hours!. If it is cyclopentalate it will take upto a day or more!. If you used atropine, it will be there for upto 14 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
