Why do some people of a race have a weird eye color?!
Question: Why do some people of a race have a weird eye color!?
Why are their some people of diff races like asians who have natural green/blue eye color!. what makes them have this!? Both their parents have dark brown eyes, so how is it possible to have such a strange eye color!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everyone has two genes for eye color!.

B = Brown eye gene
b = Blue eye gene
So a person can have either a BB combination a Bb combination or a bb combination (there is also a gene for green eyes, but let's just keep this simple)!.
BB = brown eyes!.
Bb = brown eyes
bb = blue eyes
If both parents have a Bb combination they will have Brown eyes, but it is possible they will have a child with a bb combination and that child will have blue eyes!. It's a 25% chance of that happening!. But because both parents have a recessive gene for blue eyes it can happen!.
