I can't seem to get the irritation from my contact lens, can someone please !

Question: I can't seem to get the irritation from my contact lens, can someone please help!?
My left eye is CONSTANTLY feeling irritated when my contact lens is in it!. I have cleaned the lens good, I inspected it for scratches and I take good care of my contacts, so I don't know why this is happening!.

Whenever it happens, I take the lens out, rinse it with my solution, wait a few minutes until my eye clears up, but then when I put the lens back in, the irritation starts up again!.

What could it be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you wear soft lenses, I get the same problem from time to time!. It generally turns out to be because the things was inside out!. Try turning it the other way and seeing if it improves!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Contact lenses can have protein deposits that are hard to get rid off!. When that happens, the lens often has to be replaced, especially in soft lenses!. Or the problem could be a scratch on the cornea of your eye!. If you have glasses, try leaving the contacts out for a day or two or put a new lens in the eye that is bothering you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Like the first post, there might be deposits on your lenses!.!.!. Try on a NEW pair!.!.!. if the problem continues than you might have an allergic reaction to the material for what ever reason (maybe even the solution) go to the eye doctor and see what going onWww@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds as though you are having a reaction to the material of the lens!. They are several different materials used by several different brands!. It is not uncommon to get a "bad pair!." In the making of contact lenses several factories are completely automated and there is no human presense!. It can take something as small as a piece of dust mixing with the chemicals and polymers to create a bad lens that will irritate your eye!. Remember, a contact lens is a foriegn object placed directly on living tissue!. If there is something out of the ordinary, the body's natural reaction is to reject it and therefore cause irritation!. I suggest you toss the lens!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
