Give me a break!. Crying blood!!?!
I had it a few years ago!. They give you valium to keep you calm during the surgery!. They actually told me I was their most nervous patient ever!. I was terrified! When it's over it kind of feels itchy, like you have something in your eye!. They give you goggles to make sure you don't scratch it when you sleep!.
By the next day I could see perfectly but I still didn't drive just in case!. I went back in that day and had 20/15 vision and have had that vision ever since (at least 2-3 years)!. I had some trouble with dry eyes but I just put the eye drops in a little longer (you buy the drops at any store)!.
I think the usual risks are dry eyes and halo vision around lights at night!. I think there are rare risks that involve the cornea!. No procedure is totally safe!.
I paid several thousand when I had it done and it was totally worth it!. Do research and go to a good doctor!. I live in a major city so doctors here actually specialize in it!. They offer seminars before you decide and then you go in for a long consultation where they do a bunch of tests to make sure you qualify!.
I did my procedure on a Friday morning and went back to work easily on Monday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The idiot in the above comment is an idiot !.!. LOL

My friend did it and she was very happy with the results and she can see perfectly and no complaints after almost a year!.

The surgery is 99!.9% succesful!.

The age does not really matter (as long as your 18 and over) but since your vision can or will in time become blury again from natural causes it is suggested to be done at an older age (maybe 35 or so)!. However it is highly succesful surgery and it is worth doing!.

Like I said the only down side is that in time your vision will become blury again and you may have to do it again!. It can not be done too many times though because the surgery is done by taking away layers of the cornea to adjust it in a way that you will be able to see better!. another surgery requires taking away more layers and so forth!. so that is why it is said to be done at an older age so you dont have to keep doing it over and over again!. My friend did, and it is safe, and could be worth it if it works (which it doesnt all the time)
it makes the white part of your eyes RED, it looks sooo scary haha!. You'll probably be crying blood, wont be able to open your eyes for about 3 days and be blind until it almost heals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
