Answers:
As long as both pupils are equal in size and react normally to light and accommodation (focusing) then there isn't a problem!. If you want an explanation it will take a bit of time!.

Pupil size is controlled by the autonomic nervous system and is related to the balance the body has between the parasympathetic and the sympathetic nervous system!. The two systems, without your conscious knowledge or control, are constantly being regulated and balanced by your body!. Your iris has two separate muscles!. One constricts the pupil which is reactive to parasympathetic stimulation and one that dilates which is reactive to sympathetic stiulation!. If your parasympathetic nervous system is being stimulated more than the sympathetic then you will tend to have smaller pupils!. If your sympathetic nervous system is being stimulated more then the pupil will tend to be larger in size!.

This can be related to levels of stressors in your life!. Sympathetic stimulation is related many times to stress and the "fight or flight" relexes!. Parasympathetics tend to predominate in more relaxed laid back situations!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would go to the optometrist, and have them do a full workup on your eyes!. Sometimes larger dilated pupils can mean various conditions that could come up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have large pupils too!. you might not go out in the sun enough but i would go to the doctor just in case!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
