Answers:
no need to dim the light, if you did it would help but it would also be harder to see in daylight!.

Here is my suggestion, make your computer black background with white text I have done this with everything including my web browser(firefox)

I am not aware of any cases where a monitor has caused eye damage!. In fact, making the screen too dim could conceivably cause eyestrain if you can't read the letters clearly!. As long as you are comfortable when looking at the screen, you should be fine!. If you're concerned about myopia from looking at a screen for too long, try looking out a window every half hour or so to focus on something in the distance!. My optometrist also said that it is better to do close work with glasses rather than contacts, preferably glasses that are below your full prescription!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bro, if laptop screens caused eye damage they wouldn't be on the market!. Just set it to the brightness that hurst your eyes the least!. And if your eyes are really hurting, go see your eye doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
