I am still wondering how i landed up with green eyes!.
let me tell you that no one in my family has light eyes, my family has all brown eyes!.
except for my uncle and aunt the has blue and she has green!.
but my eyes are green, and i have a brown eyed mother and a brown eyed father!.
what happened to me!?

As some of the people above me stated it just means that your parents have the recessive gene for the light eye color in their genome!. if your mom has Bb (meaning she had dark eyes but a recessive gene for light eyes too) and your dad has Bb too then there is a 25% chance that their child (meaning you) will have light eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's just a recessive gene, that's all!.
It would appear your parents, though brown-eyed, must also possess the genetic code for green eyes!. The brown gene is dominant!. But with you, the two recessive genes hooked up and so you are pure green, no brown!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My husband has Blue/grey eyes and both his parents have Brown eyes!.

Your mother and father could have a recessive gene for green eyes!. I don't know if you are Spanish!.!.!.if your parents are, then I would assume you are too!Www@Answer-Health@Com
