My right eye has puffed up?!

Question: My right eye has puffed up!?
right, the past two days, my eye has begun to puff up and hurt upon touching it!. i woke up this morning, and my eye had got worse, coz it stung when air got into the eye on the upper eyelid!. ive had this before, and it was styes, and i ended up getting one stye on both my upper and lower lids!. that was about 4-5 years ago now, but ocassionaly, my right eye mostly puffs up for no reason!. i do wear contact lenses, but as soon as i see my eye is going to do this, i wear my glasses!.
anyone know what it might be!?
and i dont think its a stye, coz the whole upper eyelid is red and puffed up, and not just one partWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
From your description, it seems you may have meibomian gland dyfunction!. We all have glands across our lidswhere our eyelashes are that release oils into our tear film to stabilize it!. Occassionally these glands can get clogged and become infected causing a stye!. These glands can also get clogged and cause our eyelids to swell and some pain, which would be a precursor to a stye just not yet infected!. If it is fully infected, you will need oral antibiotics to make it go way and to not continue getting infected!.

For maintenance to prevent this from happening to often, do the following: 1!.Do warm to hot compresses twice a day for about 5 minutes(this will help prevent the glands from clogging) preferably morning and evening!. 2!.Use baby shampoo around the eyelashes to keep them clean!. 3!. Dispose of your contacts appropriately!. 4!. Try to avoid using eyeliner!. 5!. Visit your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is bad maintenance of the face and eye lids --now it is the infection of the eye lide (cellulitis) and you can see your eye doctor for treatment-- at least in future - have a soap and water wash of the face once or twice a dayWww@Answer-Health@Com
