Blurry vision in one eye 1 week after lasik?!

Question: Blurry vision in one eye 1 week after lasik!?
I had customvue (intralase/waveguide) lasik 6 days ago!.!.!.!. The day after surgery my vision was 20/20 in both eyes!.!.!. My right eye got a corneal abrasion so a cornea bandage was put in my eye for 5 days!.!.!. Both eyes healed very nicely (the redness is gone in my right eye)

However, my right eye has blurry vision (i can't see far or near) my vision has definately improved since the surgery but the day after surgery I had 20/20!.!.!. 5 days after surgery I had 20/30 in both eyes!.!.!. and my right eye has been blurry for about 3 to 4 days now!.!.

my left eye is fine!.!.

has anyone else had this experience!?!?

has your eye improved/ did the blurriness go away!?!? how long did it take for the blurriness to go away!?!?

(i've read online it could be a variety of factors - undercorrection, overcorrection, induced astigmatism, et al)

Could it be undercorrection even though my eyes were 20/20 the day after surgery!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
things like blurry vision are normal during the first couple of days (even weeks) post-surgery!. After the surgery you should follow-up with an optometrist and have him evaluate the surgery's results!. (you also should have had a pre-surgery evaluation with an optometrist)!. If you do not see any improvement in the next week or so you should make an appointment with your optometrist and have him consult with your surgeon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One of the fairly minor after effects you may experience with LASIK eye surgery is dry eye!. If your eyes start to itch, you're probably experiencing dry eye!. You can relieve dry eye by using artificial tears!. Right after surgery you doctor will probably tell you to use these artificial tear drops every 15 minutes for the first four hours and then as often as needed!. In some cases, dry eye may persist for 3 to 6 months!.

Upon completion of LASIK eye surgery, the nerve impulses that trigger your lacrimal gland to produce tears may be interrupted, causing dry eye!. This is considered a normal reaction to the procedure, so it isn't unexpected!.

Another after effect that sometimes occurs is halo or glare at night, especially when viewing bright lights!. The first thing to expect after LASIK eye surgery is that your vision may be blurred!. This blurring usually begins to resolve itself and goes away normally within a day or so!.

Although you can expect a sudden improvement immediately after LASIK eye surgery, you will also notice that your vision will continue to further improve over time!. It can actually take up to six months for your new vision to reach its full potential!.

In almost all cases, undesirable after effects are minimized with LASIK eye surgery!. Follow your doctor's instructions and you'll be fast on the road to problem free recovery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
