Do I need glasses? Maybe I'm nearsighted? ?!

Question: Do I need glasses!? Maybe I'm nearsighted!? !?
In the PAC at my school, I'll stand in the tech boot and look towards where the stage lights hang, and I can't see the light numbers and everyone else can!.
Also, in English my seat is at the back of the class and I can't read what's on the board, and those that sit next to me can!.
Is this sort of distance something to be concerned about!? Do you think it will get worse!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If you can see things close up but not far away, that's nearsighted!. It's easily corrected with glasses or contacts, whichever you're more comfortable with!. Seeing distance is needed when driving to read street signs or at a ball game to read the score board!. So yeah, go get an eye exam, and it's probably nothing that a pair of glasses won't fix!. It might get worse with age, but not necessarily!. For example, to get lasik surgery (where they use a laser to correct your vision) your prescription has to stay the same for a couple years or so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is how it started for me!. When I began 5th grade, the school nurse had an in-class eye exam for the students!. When it was my turn, I discovered that I couldn't read the letters at the bottom of the chart!. Previously, I had been able to!. As the year progressed, I noticed that I could no longer read the black board from the back of the class room!. I had to move closer!. Pretty soon, I was wearing glasses and I have been wearing them ever since!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are short-sighted/near-sighted!. It could get worse if you read books really close to your face or squint a lot!. Best to go see an optometrist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like you are nearsighted!. You better go to the eye doctor and get an exam!. It depends on your age, how worse it might get!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might want to get an eye test!. You might need glasses but it won't be anything worse!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
