WHY do I still have these floaters?!

Question: WHY do I still have these floaters!?
As recently as yesterday, my Opthalmologist/Retinal specialist repaired 2 small tears in the retina of my right eye!. Prior to me seeing him, I experienced 2 flashes of striped vision, followed by several floaters which were like strings that floated and moved!. All this happened last Monday!. The flashing didn't occur again, but the floaters remained!. The bottom right of my vision was very cob-like!. After the Dr!. repaired the tears in the retina, I asked him about the floaters!. He told me what he did wouldn't make them go away, but in time they would less and less!.
If the laser corrected the retinal tears, then WHY do I still have these floaters!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Floaters are clumps of vitreous gel or cells inside the vitreous humour of the eye (the part behind the lens, in front of the retina)!. Since you had tears, it's likely that some cells escaped into your vitreous prior to the surgery, thus causing the floaters!. These cells are probably gonna stay because there's nothing to degrade them in the vitreous humour!. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do about them, but some people say that you can move your eyes around to get them out of your central visual field so they won't bother you as much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because they're in the fluid in the eye!. At your age the eye will filter them out---then they'll start returning in middle age!. Look upon this as valuable experience!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
