Suggested Index for prescription eyeglasses?!
Question: Suggested Index for prescription eyeglasses!?
My prescription is -3!.50/-4!.00!. The style of frame I'm interested in is the all plastic "retro/hip" look!. Would an index of 1!.57, 1!.61, 1!.67 or higher be recommended!? Would this recommendation change if I chose thin framed or frameless glasses!? These will mainly be used at home as I wear contacts mostly but I still want the "right" look!. Please don't flame me but I'll probably be purchasing from zennioptical!.com or goggles4u!.com!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The ideal index for that Rx would be the 1!.61
1!.67 is not recommended under - 6!.00 , even though they do at those sites, they are wrong!.
