Did my fiance popped a blood vessel in his eye?!
Question: Did my fiance popped a blood vessel in his eye!?
This past sunday my fiance and I were at a party!. Neither him nor I are very big drinkers, but he went overboard with he alcohol at this party!. He was trying to keep up with his family (shot for shot) and being that they are drinkers and he isn't he got extremely drunk!. He is also going through alot of upsetting and stressful things right now so that mixed with the drinking made him cry hysterically for hours!. Then he was puking violently for an hour or so!.!.!. That night when I put him to bed he was drunk but he was fine!. The next day when I saw him he had a huge red dot in the outer corner of one of his eyes!. That was 3 days ago and it looks like the color is lightening but it is spreading!. I have been told it looks like a popped blood vessel!. Is that what this sounds like or does it sound like something else!? Is it something for me to worry about!? I am worried I've asked him to go to the Dr!. and he says it's not a big deal and if it's still like that in a week he'll go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nothing to worry about!. Between the puking and crying that's exactly what happened!. It could take 7 to 14 days for it to disburse!. It just looks bad but it is really just a bruise on the eye itself!. It's just so visible it is alarming!. Nothing to do about it and no harm done!. it's nothing to worry about, and is that location's eqivalent of a small bruise!.
It will clear up at about the same rate and is no more significant than a one-off nosebleed!.
But if there is any blurred vision, or there was any head trauma associated, however mild, or if any blood-affecting medication is being taken, or there is any headache or dizziness, then further advice should be taken!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's no big deal if it is!. I popped one in my eye when I was a baby, and it's never affected me (beyond my eye getting really red sometimes for no reason)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
