Contact lenses making my eyes super red?!

Question: Contact lenses making my eyes super red!?
Ok so I've been wearing contacts for about 3 1/2 years now!. Every morning when I wake up my eyes are literally bloodshot!. So then I put regular redness reliever eye drops in and gets better but only a little!. Afterwards I put my contacts in and then I put on my eyeliner & mascara!. By the time I get to school my eyes are bloodshot again!. I've been to my eye doctor & he said it was keratitis & he gave me some eye drops and said it would get better!. Now its been 2 months & my eye is the same away!. I don't wanna keep going to the doctor's because I've been there numerous times before!. So does anyone know what it could be & what I could do!? I do have severe allergies; could that be apart of it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had a similar thing happen to me!. What i did was threw out all my makeup (eyeliner, mascara!.!.!.anything that came close to my eye) and bought new!. I also changed my contact solution (i decided to go for the most expensive to see if it had an impact and it did) I also bought a new contact case and threw out my old contacts and started with fresh new ones!. I also wore my glasses for several days, and it did the trick!! I hope this helps!

There are a couple of possibilities I can see here!. One is that you have dry eyes!. If that's your problem, you will notice that eye drops help but not for long!. Also, contact lenses can aggravate the problem since they absorb the moisture in your eyes!.

Another possibility is that you have a sensitivity to either the mascara or eyeliner you use!. I have been unable to wear mascara for years since it irritates my eyes!. It doesn't matter what brand mascara it is!. You might check to see if that's the problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you sleep in them, that's the source right there!.
Sometimes, when you wake up normally, your eyes are bloodshot!.
You should only worry if it lasts all day!. If it only lasts through the morning, it's because your eyes are adjusting from being closed for hours!.
Allergies could be a possibility!. Try using Claritin (I found works the best) depending on your allergies!.

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
