Why is the white part of my eyes yellow?!
Question: Why is the white part of my eyes yellow!?
I've been feeling really sick for the past 3 days now and the white part of my eyes are yellowish!. what does that mean!? Is it bad or why are they yellow!? They're not COMPLETELY yellow but they look yellowish!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The symptom you are describing is from Jaundice!. This is yellowing of the cornea, along with your skin!. Is your skin also taking on this tint!? Is your skin dry and itchy!?
The above poster is correct!. This is related to a problem with your liver!. I would guess that it is hepatitis, probably hepatitis A!. The A version is the most common, and usually does not cause any permanent harm!. The other types B and C are much more serious!. You could also have a blocked bile duct, but I doubt that would be a issue at 16 years old!. If you are female and overweight, this gives it more possibility!.
Anyhow, seeing your primary physician or nurse practitioner would be your best course of action!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you're jaundiced (the term medics use for the yellowing you're describing) and that needs investigating to find out what the problem is!. Jaundice can be caused by a number of things, including liver disease and some problems with your blood!. Go to the doctor!. Do you smoke!? It could be that if you do!. Also do you drink to much!? That can hurt your liver and it sounds like it could be jaundice which is serious, is your skin yellow also!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
