Contacts hurt when I put them in?!

Question: Contacts hurt when I put them in!?
I have been wearing contacts for years, and a few weeks ago I got a new brand of soft contacts which work great for me!. I have been wearing them for a few weeks without problems and they're very comfortable!.

Now, for some reason, yesterday and today when I put in my contacts in the morning, I feel a horrible burning sensation on my eyes, and they start tearing really heavily and they become very red!. After about 2 minutes the burning and tearing decreases and after 10 minutes they feel normal again!.

Does anybody know why my eyes would suddenly get irritated!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe because you don't wash your hands before you have contact with your contact lenses!?

Perhaps some substances still on your skin (finger tips/hands/fingers) can have bad reactions to the contact solution, making it irritating to your eyes!.

Or maybe if you wash your hands, there could be some soap particles on your skin that might cause this burning sensation in your eyes, which can be painful and give you teary red eyes!.

I've had that before, I try to wash my face to moisture my eyes a bit (even if it's water) so that my eyes get familiar with some extra moisture or non-natural substance to the eyes, that way when you insert your contact lenses you won't have a really dramatic first reaction with the wetness of the lenses!.

Hopefully it works for you!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
