Question: I am a teen in my eye color is changing!?
My dad has really dark eyes!. and my mom has beautiful light brown eyes!. Her eyes are really light brown and very rare because in my whole entire life i've never seen such beautiful eyes because they are so light and brown!. I always told my mom how beautiful her eyes were and that i always wanted to inherit her eye color!. Now my mom and my sister and me have been noticing that my eyes are getting really light like my mom's when it's dark but when i'm outside they seem dark brownish greenish and i swear they weren't like that before!. I am not having problems with my vision or anything like that and im 16!. What could be causing my eye color to change!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My eyes turned from brown to blue in my teens!.
however its only been recognised by science in the last few years!.

Eye pigment can change, just as hair/skin can also!. My husband had bright blue eyes until he was 16, and now they are bright green!.

its just the light and sometimes things you wear and diing or getting highlights in your hair can also make your eyes look lighter!Www@Answer-Health@Com
sometimes eye color changes in different light!.!.same with mine!. Mine are like a greenish brown in the light and dark brown when its dark!. weird right!!? lol :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
