Question: Contact Lens Question! Please Help!!?

I recently got contacts from 1-800-CONTACTS and got a year supply!. The problem is, i still have 3 right contact lenses from before the supply came in that are a different brand!. Both are the same prescription, size, shape, and there both 2 week desponsables!. I would hate for the contatcs to go to waste since there so expensive! Can i wear them together with the other brands or just throw them out!?!?

I would not use the three right lenses that you have left over because if it is a different brand and the slightest difference is going to bother your eye!. I would hang onto them for awhile but don't wear them with a different brand because one brand can be thinner then the other and it would really affect your eyes so don't play around with the contacts use the ones you got from 1-800 contacts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hope it was your optician that changed the brand, or that 1-800 contacts used a rebranded version of the ones prescribed!.

Since you only use one lens in each eye, it is safe to use the original brand in the right eye!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can absolutely wear them!. if the script is the same, and your measurements didn't change!. as long as they are not cosmetic colors id do it!. and if what you want is two different colored eyes, then DO IT! lol!.

i wouldn't see why not!. as long as there the same prescription i would think that would be all the mattered!. i used to wear contacts but i never had to different kinds but i would try it see if it bothered you if not then i wouldn't waste moneyWww@Answer-Health@Com
