Answers:
You can become blind for various reasons!.

One of the reasons for vision impairment is cataracts!. This is the milky fibrous build up of fibrin (iirc) in the eye!. It can be removed very easily!. It does not cause total blindness, more, it causes varied degrees of visual impairment as the larger the cataract, the larger the visual impairment!.

To answer your question, sometimes!. Sometimes blind people have grey eyes due to this, but they can be blind for other reasons without having cataracts, so their eyes may appear normal or have another deformation or atypical sign which could be related to the reason they are blind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been developing a cataract in my right eye along with scarring from a retinal detachment, as the scaring and cataract develops I have "lost" the color black as well as the muting of other colors!. My eye color itself has not changed, just the perception of color!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some causes of blindness will lead to a 'milky white' looking eye!.

That said, mine do not!. My eyes look normal and brown!. This is the case with most younger blind people!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not necessarily!. What you are probably thinking of is cataracts!. When a person loses their sight from having a catatract on their eye, it will turn a milky looking color!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not every blind persons eye turn grey!.!.!. i know blind people can be blind and have brown, green and even blue eyes, not just grey!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, they become milky like cataracts!. So the colour itself doesn't change!. Just a milky layer over top!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it depends on why you are blind!. If its an injury I am pretty sure your eyes don't change color at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the iris does not change color but the eyes do glaze over with a white film!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
