Question: I wear contacts!. Are my eyes bad based on my prescription!?
Are -3!.75 and -4 bad contact lense prescriptions for a pre-teen!?
I don't want my eyes to be horrible, or even worse, go blind :(

Wow, thats not that bad!.
Mine are a -10!.5 in contacts for both eyes :p

You can't tell if vision is bad based on prescription!. Bad eyes see poorly even when wearing glasses or contacts, this is called your best corrected acuity!. Call your eye doctor and ask what your vision is when wearing glasses or contacts!. If it is 20/20 then your vision is good!. You cannot go blind from needing glasses, blindness is caused by disease or injury!.
If you mean, do you have a large prescription, then no!. You have moderate myopia!. Myopia is mostly caused by genetics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah, I am -3!.75 in both eyes too!. It's not extremely strong, but strong enough that we have to always wear contacts vs!. someone who only wears glasses occasionally to see the board at school or something like that!.
Taking care of your vision involves simple things like reading in brighter lit areas, not sitting too closely to the TV, and not watching TV or staring at the computer for too long!. However, other factors like genetics definitely play a role in vision too!. If both your parents have glasses, then it's more likely that you'll have some kind of vision problem too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well!.!.!.I wear contacts and I have -1!.50 in one eye and -1!.25 in the other!. I'm guessing you have a stronger prescription, but it doesn't mean you will go blind, don't worry!. And your eyes get bad from genetics passed on from your parents!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i used to have pretty bad eyes!. I don't remember what my prescription was!. Probably twice what yours is!!! When I wasn't wearing contacts, I could only see, literally, approx 3 inches infront of my face!!!!
