Painless partially bloodshot eye?!

Question: Painless partially bloodshot eye!?
Three days ago I woke up and my left eye was bloodshot in a line in the middle of the left part of my eye!. It's still here and It's not as bad but there is a little red rim around the part of my iris the line is in!. I've been wearing contacts for a year and this has never happened before!.

I went to the optometrist yesterday to get a new perscription and he said there was nothing wrong with my eye!. I didn't ask him about the redness!.

What should I do!?

I'm going back to school in four days time and I don't want anyone thinking I'm going to infect them or that I've been doing drugs or alcohol or anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
what you have described sounds like a subconjunctival haemorrhage!. its a bleed of one of the fine capillaries in the white of the eye!. this is very common and is nothing to be worried about!. the blood will be reabsorbed gradually over the next couple of days!.

simple strain like coughing or sneezing can cause these fine vessels to burst!. sometimes it can be sue to high blood pressure but you say you are at school so if you are young then this will not be of any concern for you!.

hopefully it will recover by the time you go back to school

its very regular for contact lens users to get random redness (happnd to my sister all the time) it could just be a burst blood vessel or maybe a minor infection if you want the redness to go away go to your chemist and get a some good eye drops i suggest Clear EyesWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's a broken blood vessel and could have been caused by a spike in blood pressure!. That's what my doctor told me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
