Question: I'm trying to order contancts and it asked me my perscription!?
I got my eyeglass perscription at 275, 275 and I wanted contacts!. The options for contacts are in positive decimals and negative decimals!. does that mean mine are +2!.75 for both eyes!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can see things far away but find it hard to read you are long sighted so you would be +2!.75 for both eyes

if you can see things close but cant see things far away eg tv or blackboard in school you are short sighted so you would be -2!.75 in both eyes!. Just like me!!

Contacts are also fit for base curve and size, if you did not have a fitting along with your eyeglass refraction, you will need to do so!. Also need to determine whether you are near or farsighted!. Plus, at times, glasses and contact prescriptions are different, for instance in my left eye my eyeglass prescription is -6!.00, but power wise I wear a -5!.25 because the difference in vertex distances, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Contacts has a slightly different perscription then glasses, since the air medium and distance is no longer a factor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You must have a prescription in order to get contacts!. See your optometrist and get fit for them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
