Why do your eyes get gooey when you sleep in your contacts?!


Question: Why do your eyes get gooey when you sleep in your contacts!?
I was just wondering cause today I almost fell asleep and when I opened my eyes after about 45 mins, it was kinda hard to get them open!. I would think they would dry out, but they dont!. Just asking!. Thnaks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think bacteria tend to grow more on eyes covered by contacts!. This is partly because of the lower oxygen level under them!. That sticky stuff is white blood cells that squeezed between the cells of the capillaries in your eyes, to get out there to eat those bacteria!. Its a nasty job, but somebody has to clean up!.

this is not your eyes getting dried, its the lenses which are getting dried inside your eyes, cause the tear is not producing while you are sleeping, so you shud always take your lenses out when you re going to sleep, or drop some eye drops which is compatible With lenses when you up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

because your eyes can't breath!. the fact that it is hard to open your eyes is because they were drying!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
