Question: How can i convince my parents to get me contacts!?
I really want to get contacts, because glasses really bug me!. I need them, because i cant read the board at school!. But i absolutely hate my glasses!. they are kinda cute, but really uncomfortable, and just wearing them bugs me!. i don't want any new glasses!. i really want contacts because i do many sports like swimming, running, tennis, soccer, and volleyball, and those are all pretty hard to go with glasses on!. when ever I ask my parents for contacts, they just say "wear your glasses!. they're nice glasses!." i try explaining that they just bug me, but nothing will work! help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh dear, Parents have this tendency to think you look cute and that's enough! I remember trying to convince my mother of the same thing, but she thought I was being insecure about my looks!. *phooey* I'm fab!
Righto, offer a compromise!. You like your specs enough to be in school with them where it's "Not a fashion parade, it's a place of learning" (Channelling my mother there!), but you need contacts to dive underwater, whack hard balls about where they could hit your face and crack your specs, apply mascara without it scraping the inside of your specs or even just to stop the sweaty bit you get on the nose pads!
Explain the cost of prescription swimming goggles (before your eyes slow their adolescent deterioration) is too much, whereas a months worth of soft daily disposable contacts can cost as little as
