Question: Cataracts in both eyes for my age!?
My eye doctor says i have cataracts in both eyes!. I wouldn't think it's a problem but the fact is that i'm 12!!!

Some people are born with cataracts, like a birth mark or a birth defect!. I have one in my left eye that I was born with!. It doesn't impare my vision, or at least if it does I have learned to live with it and not notice it!.

Do you have rheumatoid arthritis or any other health problem!? Sometimes children can get cataracts with health problems!. About 25 percent of kids are born with cataracts!. I don't believe you can do anything to get rid of them!. That's up to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
an eye doctor can remove them when he considers them "ripe" he will do it one at a time-not both!.!.!.it's a piece of cake--doesn't hurt at all!. it's done in hospital but you don't have to stay over nightWww@Answer-Health@Com
