Can you wear a monocle...?!

Question: Can you wear a monocle!.!.!.!?
Can you wear a monocle for near-sightedness!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Depends on your age, near-sightedness in the form of myopia, probably not!. They are normally used to correct for presbyopia (age related near-sighted problems)!. You should have normal distance vision and wear the monocle on your non-dominant eye!. This is another method of monovision, you can do the same with laser correction or a contact lens!. You would need to have a test with your opticians to establish your dominant eye, strength of lens etc!. Some people do not respond well to monovision, so it is worth trialling first!.

** A monocle is not going to be very useful to correct for myopia / hyperopia or astigmatism in one eye!. The optical centre and distance from eye of the monocle would be too difficult to maintain to correct vision accurately and consistently!. Correcting for presbyopia does not require the same level of accuracy or maintenance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am sure you could, but not sure why you would want to!. It would actually make sense for me to use it because I only have correction in my left eye!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you probably could!. i think it just depends on the lens!.

that would be pretty BA
maybe i should get one, cause i only have astigmatism in one eye!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
