Splashing your eyes with cool water is an excellent method for soothing & cooling the eyes down!. To be extra safe, it would be best to do this whilst not wearing your contacts!. Tap water can carry low levels of bacteria, which if you are unlucky, may be absorbed by your contacts!.

I generally recommend people to wear their contacts minimally as possible!. If possible, once you get home from work/party - take them off & replace them with glasses as soon as you can!. This will allow more time for your eyes to breathe!.

As already mentioned, ocular lubricants can help refresh & moisten your eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm a doctor technician for an optometrist's office and my advice would be try a moisturizing drop like Optive or Systane which are available over the counter!. Put those in before putting your contacts in or try Blink! for contacts if you want a drop to use while wearing them!. Taking your contacts out at night would also allow your eye to moisten naturally and get more oxygen!. You may also want to look into a different brand of contacts, one that holds in more moisture and is made of a more breathable material!. Hope that helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
