Does me daughter need surgery for her blocked or constricted tear ducts?!

Question: Does me daughter need surgery for her blocked or constricted tear ducts!?
My daughter is 21 months old, that is she'll be 2 in April!. She has had a tear drainage problem since birth!. People often thought she was crying, especially if she was sick or out in the air with a breeze or cold weather!. She often gets "infections" in the tear duct!. Just went to the ophthalmologist this morning after finally the pediatrician took me seriously instead of just saying "she'll grow out of it"!. The ophthalmologist, however, said he thinks it's a case that will go away or at least diminish a lot while she grows up and maybe might have some short lived problems with breezes as she grows up!. He said to keep observing it to convince myself that it only exists outside and when she's sick and will grow out of it soon!.!.!. and go back in 6 months if not!. Should I go get a second referral!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Personally, I would take her to a pediatric ophthalmologist and get a second opinion!. Second opinions are never a bad idea!. You have the mother instinct telling you to do it! Just do so! You will never regret being cautious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
