Question: Best universities for optical research!?
I have a rare blindness problem in my right eye!. (Almost completely covered by scar tissue) And my family is thinking about taking me to a university to get a second opinion on possible surgeries to help me with it!.

well i have alot of unique and complex problems with my eyes and i just had an appointment at "wills eye hospital" in philadelphia pa!.
they are a world renound facility and have the cream of the crop doctors working there!.
my case is soooo unique that the dr i saw there had never come in contact with an eye such as mine!.
they are considering the possibility of doing surgery!. i haven't heard anything yet but i'm sure they will call me soon to let me know what they think can be done!. (its only been 12 since my appointment and the dr was going to research my conditions, look at the measurements he took of my eye, and talk to anyone he knows around the country to see if anything can be done)
