my insurance that i get through work kicks in within the next few days, however, vision is not covered and im in need of an eye exam and care!. what can i do in this situation!? how can i get my eyes taken care of when my insurance does not cover vision!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As far as I know, it depends where you live!. I live in Canada and can only answer for the province I live in, Ontario!. If you're 19 or under, the government of Ontario will give you one free eye exam every year!. If you're 65 or over, same!. Any age in between, generally you have to pay unless for some medical reason the govt believes you can have a free eye exam!. You can also try speaking with your family doctor as some GPs do eye exams!.

Find out who is the president of the local Lions Club in your town and write a very nice and detailed letter about your situation with all your contact information!.
They will bring it to a board of directors meeting, and decide if they
will assist you!.
If you want to be pro-active you could even go to one of their meetings
and offer to volunteer some of your time to one of their projects in return for some vision care help!.!.!.!.!.!.just a thought!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
