it's a hormonal thing!. when your ute is cleaning itself out by shedding its lining and unfertilized eggs, the rest of your system is triggered into a little spring cleaning as well!. you should also find changes in your skin, appetite, etc!. it has to do with the hormone progesterone!. it is responsible for ovulation and egg production and peaks in levels mid cycle!. it is also responsible for maintaining pregnancy, so if an egg is fertilized it keeps increasing throughout pregnancy and your periods stop!. it relaxes your uterus to expand and sustain a pregnancy, and as it's so close to your intestines, it relaxes and slows everything down, that's why pregnant women get constipated!. if an egg is not fertilized the levels drop back down and your period starts!. and your bowels then get their groove back and start poopin!Www@Answer-Health@Com
