Would Listerine damage contact lenses?!

Question: Would Listerine damage contact lenses!?

This morning when I was putting on my contacts, I dropped one before I could get it into my eye!. I looked everywhere, and could never find it!. Then, this afternoon, my mother searched the bathroom and found it -- floating in the Listerine she keeps at the bottom of the container that holds our tooth brushes!. I immediately cleaned it with solution, and left it to soak in its case!. Would having the contact in the Listerine all that time damage it, or would the alcohol disinfect the contact instead!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sure it is not safe at all!. Even if other complications had occured instead, would you really want to risk losing your eyesight!?

I think that an eye doctor would probably tell you not to put that in your eye!. I don't know if it damages or not!. If you are going to try to use it again then at least soak it for like a day or something and change the solution a lot!. Make sure there isn't any damage that you can see when you look at it up close!. All I can say is if it did damage it or it still has alcohol on it that thing is going to hurt and burn!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that you REALLY REALLY shouldn't put it into your eyes just because you cleaned it doesn't mean the listerine is gone from it!. Plus there are these chemicals in listerine to eat away at bad breath so i do not think that it would be so great putting it into your eyes!.!.!.

If you honestly need to ask that question then you are not responsible enough to have contacts!
Think about it!.!.!.would you put listeine in your eye!?!?!?
That's like asking "If I drop my contact on the floor can i still use it!?" !.!.!.well sure if you don't give a crap about your eyes!!!!
