Eye Trouble. Blind spot in the eye that comes and goes after a Football hit it.?!

Question: Eye Trouble!. Blind spot in the eye that comes and goes after a Football hit it!.!?
I got hit in the eye by a football Pretty hard!. When it happened i could not see for about 20 minutes properly, then eventually i could see except for a little bit on the bottom of my Vision on my right eye!. Eventually all i could see was 'floaters'!. But when i woke up this morning i had the same large blind spot in my vision, until i looked into a mirror to look at my eye, i almost heard a pop and now all i can see is a mass of floaters!. Should i go see a doctor or am i just wasting me time and it will heal itself!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This sounds absolutely serious and you shouldn't waste a moment to see an opthamologist immediately!. While the surface of your eye will heal relatively quickly, anything damaged behind the eye or inside it may be permanent!.

Remember that your vision is actually upside-down!. If you can't see in the lower part of your eye, damage has been done to the upper part of your retina!.

The opthamologist will most likely numb your eye with a few liquid drops (it feels kind of nice, in a weird way), and you'll be blinking a lot!. Then he or she may put a "contact" on your eye that is connected to a light and a microscope of sorts!. It's very simple, not at all painful, but they will see everything inside your eye!. You will also need to be tested for pressure, since when your eye was hit, you may have increased the pressure momentarily inside the eyeball, rupturing the fragile vessels and capillaries in the back!.

I wish you luck, but you have to call in an emergency and you cannot wait another moment!. Your eyes are irreplaceable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My own visits to the opthamologist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like you have a detached retina!. Seek help immediately or you will lose the sight in that eye!. If you don't believe me talk to you local emergency room nurse, she will confirm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
