Why is my depth perception so terrible?!

Question: Why is my depth perception so terrible!?
I can't cross roads if I see a car on them, unless for some reason the car is right beside me, when I don't even notice it!.

I walk into walls beside doors!.

I'm dreadfully clumsy!.

I had my eyes tested when I got headaches reading, which was apparently eyestrain!.

My eyes are also very sensitive to light!.

I always tilt my head to one side!.!.!. Can't tell lefts and rights so I'm not sure which!.

I've never had a fringe over one eye which could affect this, and all this has happened since I was a child!.

One of my eyes does see better than the other, but according to the optometrist, not significantly, but if it is this, it's having a really strong and negative effect on my life!.

I'm a 24 year old female!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make an appointment with a good Ophthalmologist and have your eyes dilated and the back of the eyes looked at, Retina, Macula!.
It sounds to me like you have a blind spot!. Google-----Amsler Grid---- and look at the spot in the middle with first the left eye closed then the right eye!. If with either eye you see the small dot in the middle of the grid and all the lines are nice and straight, thats very good, but if any of the lines are curvy (with either eye) and especially if you see any blank spots or places on the grid, you need to see an Ophthalmologist ASAPWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your problem might be due to the fact that you can see better out of one eye than the other!. My sister has amblyopia as a result of being born with crossed eyes!. Despite attempts to treat it with glasses and eye patches, her vision in her bad eye never improved and she basically only sees out of one eye!. She has poor depth perception!. Even though she didn't get a driver's license until she was 35 years old, she still doesn't feel safe driving and prefers having others do it for her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
