Question: Okay to switch contact brand without doctor permission!?
My doc has prescribed me with Bausch and Lomb's PureVision contact lenses!. I have -4!.75 in both eyes and 8!.30 BC!.
I have always wanted to change my eye color and try colored contacts!. If I can find contacts that offer both of the above measurements, would I be able to try them!?
PS!. I am interested in Acuvue 2 Colours!. Plus they offer my BC and power!.

Not only is it not okay, you won't be able to do it!. Anywhere you purchase them online will verify the RX with your eye doctor and if you don't have an RX in that brand, they will deny it and nothing will be shipped to you!. Your best bet is to go back to or call your eyecare provider and ask if they can fit you in colored lenses - there may not be an additional charge to do so! :)

Technically you can but it is recommended that you see a eye doctor before making that switch, However only a few people can wear color lenses for most people the contacts dry up really fast in their eyes and they can't see very good out of them!. If you want to can try them and see if they don't dry up on you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Different brand means different fit----usually!.
So, power and base curve is only part of the equation!.
Might be best to call the Doc and explain what you want!.
Have them order in some free trial lenses!.
For the color to look natural, the lenses must fit perfectly,
plus you'll get to see the color on your eye before buying a bunch!.
