Contact related trouble. Should I see a doctor?!

Question: Contact related trouble!. Should I see a doctor!?
Firstly, I'm a college student who tends to have late nights and pass out with my contacts in!. The bigger issue here, is that I'm pretty absent minded and if I wake up and there is no discomfort, I'll just keep my contacts in (sometimes for weeks at a time, which hasn't been problematic until now)!.

Extremely dumb, I know!.!.!.

As of late, my left eye has been hurting a little bit and I've been having trouble focusing with my contacts in (This has been going on longer than the slightly dull ache, and occurred even when I replaced them)!. I can see just fine, and there is no redness or anything like that, but I'm worried that I may have scratched my cornea or got an infection!. I wore glasses today, and my eyes felt normal (great actually), until I put my contacts in for a meeting!. After about two hours with them in I began to feel the irritation again (granted I did have to pry the left contact apart the other night after it slipped under my eyelid for about a little over and hour)!. I'm going to discontinue using my contacts for a good while!. But should I look into this further!? I'm kinda freaking out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Extremely dumb was a good description!.

Leave them out for a day or two, and wear your glasses!.

If there is no more irritation, consider yourself lucky, and stick with your glasses!.

If any irritation or pain comes back, then go see a Dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Never take chances with your eyesight!. When in doubt always seek professional advice!. We only get one set of eyes and should take very good care of our eyesight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
