Tips on how to put in toric contact lenses if you have small eye's?!

Question: Tips on how to put in toric contact lenses if you have small eye's?
I"ve been struggling with this for the past few days and have tried every which way of getting them in and I can't seem to get it number one because my eye's keep blinking and number two because I have shaky hands. i've done it before and did so twice at the eye exam place by myself and was just wondering if anyone that has small eye's like mine and has toric lenses could help me with getting them in. It's so frustrating and my father who has small eye's like mine has said that he'd help me but I want to try and do this on my own without his help in order to prove to him that I do know what I"m doing.

Answers:

You put them in the same way as any other lenses.

Blinking and shaking are problems you have to fix to begin with . Small eyes doesn't matter , they will fit.

Practice , practice , practice is the only way you will get it. Control the blinking, open wide and center the lens in your eye right onto the iris ( the colored part )

You've done it twice, so you know they fit...so now just practice.

Check out the technique on this page: http://bit.ly/sclerahowto
It will probably work for you too because it shows how to put a large lens into your eye.
There are pictures and steps, which should help too. The trick is to remain calm while trying. If your eye starts to tear to much, stop, give it a minute before trying again.... you will get it!

Good luck!!!
