An itchy eye could be coming from various reasons, my friend. It could be that you have a foreign body, that is something even just a small dust got into your erye.In this case and in all other cases of the eye never rub your eyes. They will turn ro red and you can even damage the small almost invisible capillaries ( hairy veins) and so it will turn more red. The best thing is to go an have a check up. Do not try to take a foreign body yourself. Most likely you would not succeed. The best thing you can do is to apply a lot of clean water aganst your eye. If you see that you still feel it the same go for the check up. The eye is delicate and so do not risk it.

natural remedies for itchy eyes

An itch is a condition where a particular part of the body, usually the skin, feels prickly. An itch is always associated with a desire to scratch. When it comes to the eyes, the desire to scratch is replaced by the desire to continuously blink the eyes. Itchy eyes may be sore and red in color. Itchiness in the eyes is usually caused by some type of infection. It is also common for foreign particles to get lodged in the eye, resulting in an itchy sensation. An itchy eye may appear red in color. There are some infectious conditions that can cause redness and itching in the eyes. Conjunctivitis is a good example of one such condition. Some allergies may also be responsible for itchy eyes. Many people also suffer from itchy eyes when they are exposed to certain vapors like the vapors from an onion being cut and peeled.

When it comes to natural remedies for itchy eyes, one can try the most basic natural remedy, which is to use water to wash the eyes. Washing the eyes with water is beneficial because it can remove some of the infectious material from the eye. It can also provide a feeling of cooling to the eye which can be quite nice for someone suffering from an itch. When the itch is associated with a lodged foreign particle, then this technique is even more applicable. Itchy eyes should not be rubbed as it would worsen the condition. There are some other natural remedies for itchy eyes which can be used to provide relief to the eyes, if not cure the problem altogether. These natural remedies for itchy eyes include the use of cold cucumber slices. These slices can be placed on each eye for a period of fifteen minutes each. This allows the eyes to cool down and may reduce the itchy sensation considerably.

Some people also use tea bags in the same way, although tea bags, if damp, may temporarily stain the eyes. Both these remedies are designed to provide relief rather than treat the actual underlying cause. If there is an eye infection, then one should visit a doctor for advice and for treatment. The use of simple eye cleansing eye drops may be helpful in clearing out some of the itchy sensation. Often itching is a result of improper lubrication in the eyes. This can be cured using eardrops or using the traditional eye washing technique

A good Sleep.

Cucumber/Potato peels or Banana Skin

Keep away from watching TV or your system, refrain from brightness for a while. relax your eye muscles by cupping your palm over it. Should do the trick.

If something has fallen into your eyes, blink constantly, tears could help wash it away. You can alternatively also hold some water in your hands and open your eyes in them.
