well everybody has problems putting them in at first, just dont give up, and always put them on. eventually you will be so used to it!

I'd say don't worry about it or put a lot of pressure on yourself. Your optometrist will walk you through it and it'll get easier and easier. Putting in contacts is hard for everyone at first. When I went in to learn how to do it, I dropped them on the floor a couple of times. Don't get frustrated and stay calm. Also, don't wear liquid eyeliner or eye make-up that isn't waterproof when you go in there. I learned this the hard way.

Practice holding your eye open. Take your left hand and hold the eyelashes on the top of your lid to keep it as open as possible. than take the pinky, ring finger and middle finger to hold the bottom eyelashes so your right hand pointer finger can put the contact in. Don't actually touch your eye yet though. (These directions are for right-handed people. If you are left hand than reverse it so the right hand holds the top lid and the three fingers on your left hold the bottom) Just practice getting a good grip.

You cannot really prepare. Just when you get them try putting them in different ways. I for one, put the contacts in, hold it there, and with my other hand push it down. This is just because it sticks to my hand i put it in with because holding the contact makes it wet.
