Ophthalmologist told me he doesn't see why I have double-vision and visual !
Question: Ophthalmologist told me he doesn't see why I have double-vision and visual disturbances?
- I do have chronic sinusitis, and around the same time frame (April 2009) that I had sinusitis the visual problems occurred. I already seen a ENT doctor, and he told me that sinusitis shouldn't cause double vision UNLESS it affected the eye socket. He didn't do a CT Scan on me however since I'm 36 weeks pregnant. So I go see Ophth. and he tells me I have NOTHING wrong.
-PLEASE don't judge me. I made mistakes in the past. But I got sick with sinusitis since I had done inhalants THROUGH MY NOSE (not mouth) for 2 days straight on APRIL 2009. Do you think it could be permanent?
Answers:
It more than likely is permanent, if not just long term. As for addressing the issue, you'd be wise to get a second opinion, there's some things you don't want to mess around with and risk long term damages, especially when it comes to your eyes. Better safe than sorry. I had a scar that my former dermatologist said would go away in time, several years later, I go with some issues, get told its something completely different, get redirected, only to find out it could be skin cancer and should have been biopsied at the start. So dont wait, get your second opinion.
