Is it normal for vision in one eye to worsen dramatically in one year?!

Question: Is it normal for vision in one eye to worsen dramatically in one year?
I've only noticed this recently and become worried that my Right eye seems to have worsened, and more blurry or hazy than it was before. When I look at lights there's a haze around them. My left eye seems fine, I can still read things far away clearly, where the right eye I can't make out anything at certain distances where my left eye can. It's only been about a year, possibly less since my last eye appt. It seems like there hasn't been enough time to pass for it to have worsened this much, or can that happen? I do wear contacts and glasses, in case that matters.

It all depends on the actual difference from what it was to what it is now. If it is an extreme amount it could be an indicator of an underlying health problem. In which case your eye doctor will refer you to a specialist. First thing is first you need to get an exam. Also if your like most contact wearers and sleeping in your contacts for long periods of time. STOP. The lack of oxygen caused by extended wearing (sleeping in them) can cause your vision to worsen.
