Is it okay to insert contacts like this?!

Question: Is it okay to insert contacts like this?
I pull down my lower eyelid and put my contact lens on the whites of my eye and blink, and it moves up to my iris. I find this more comfortable than inserting the contact lens directly on my iris, or will this cause more scratches on the sclera?

also, am i the only one that finds putting contact lens enjoyable? i've had contact lens for 2 months and i like waking up to go to school because i like putting my contact lens in :3

I don't think that's harmful. What I do is the same first steps. But as opposed to blinking I look up down left right to centre it. And then I blink for 3 seconds to allow a firm grip.
Lol. After 6 hours I need them off desperately. :D

It's fine to put the contact lens on the white part of the eye, you're not going to scratch anything. It's actually how I usually teach people to do it. You may find it a little easier instead of blinking to look down (i.e. towards the lens) to center it once it's on the eye, but there's nothing wrong with what you're doing.

That method is fine as the optician has said.

When I first had contacts after I got the hang of putting them in I used to enjoy it as I got a thrill seeing things so clearly and so much better than glasses. It did wear off after a while though. Be interesting if you always enjoy doing it :)

I have never gone the contact route, as my eyes are unusually sensitive. Your approach to placing them sounds fine.
