Are non-silicone contacts more expensive than regular contacts?!
Question: Are non-silicone contacts more expensive than regular contacts?
I seem to have developed an allergy to my normal contacts so my eye doctor gave me non-silcon contacts to try for a week. And they are alot better. I forgot to ask what the price of them were though. Are they more expensive than regular contacts or are they roughly the same price?

Silicon hydrogel contacts are generally more expensive than other contacts. The contacts you are trying may be less expensive than the ones you have been wearing.

You have something backwards there..." non silicone would be the "regular " ones.
Silicone lenses are the newer ones, and in general are a bit more expensive than the regular , non silicone lenses.
